Diabetic disease is increasing very fast in India. And even more alarming is the estimate that India has the second largest number of diabetics after China. That is, India is behind only China in this disease. It is a disease that carries with it several other diseases. And if it is neglected, it causes serious diseases.
According to a medical report, about 30 lakh people above 40 years of age are facing the risk of blindness due to diabetes in India. This research was also joined by some researchers from Ernarkulam, Kerala on the condition of diabetes.
These Indians can go blind
According to a research conducted in Delhi, if a person has diabetes and the person's retina means that the chances of eye damage can go up to 15 to 20 percent and the retina has blood vessels. And because of diabetes, veins become blocked. Due to which the blood gets jammed in the veins sometimes the blood gets into the eyes.
If not diagnosed on time, the person goes blind
According to the doctor, this condition should not be neglected at all and if not diagnosed on time, the person goes blind. In this condition, not only the retina is damaged but the patient is also likely to develop white cataracts and black cataracts.
