One volunteer died during a clinical trial of a vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University for the prevention of corona. However, Oxford University has stated that this will not prevent clinical trials of the vaccine. AstraZeneca declined to say anything about this.

At present, there is a lot of speculation around the world to develop an anti-coronavirus vaccine. AstraZeneca and Oxford University were reported to be at the forefront. The vaccine was watched by the whole world, including India. The vaccine was being manufactured at the Serum Institute in Pune, India.

Sources familiar with the incident said that if the volunteer who died had been vaccinated, the clinical test would have been canceled. The volunteers were from a group that had been given meningitis medication. Central University of S સાo Paulo, which is assisting in the third phase of clinical trials of the vaccine, claimed that an independent review committee had also recommended continuing clinical trials. The dying volunteer was from Brazil. However, he was not identified.

A spokesman for the University of Brazil said tens of thousands of volunteers in Brazil were taking part in clinical trials of the vaccine. Eight thousand of them were given the first dose in six different cities in Brazil.
