The dampness of the atmosphere due to rain increases the risk of bacterial and viral infections. Due to which many other types of problems including dengue, malaria can occur. If your immunity is weak, you can get sick easily. Meanwhile, you should take special care of your diet in monsoon. If you want to avoid monsoon diseases then you can keep yourself fit and energetic with Ayurvedic tea. Anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties present in Ayurvedic tea can help keep your body healthy.

Drink this Ayurvedic tea in monsoons

ginger

You can drink ginger tea in monsoon. It can give you relief from cold, fever and sore throat. This can help strengthen your immunity. To make this you take dry ginger powder, cinnamon, jaggery, carom seeds. Mix all the ingredients in water and boil it well for 15 minutes. After that you can take it out in a cup and drink it.

Basil

Tulsi is famous in every household for its Ayurvedic properties. Tulsi has many properties that can protect you from bacterial and viral infections. It contains vitamin C, calcium, zinc, iron, can provide relief from cold, cough, help strengthen your immunity. Meanwhile, you should drink tea made from Tulsi leaves during the rainy season. It will not give you a chest infection. To make this, boil basil leaves, ajmo and raw ginger in water for 10 to 15 minutes. You can strain it and drink it later.

Jethimadha

Jethimadh is one of the best herbs that can provide you with many health benefits. Nutrients like antioxidant, calcium, antibiotic, protein present in it make you strong and help fight against diseases. Cold, cough and phlegm problems are cured by drinking Jethimadh tea. To make tea, boil a 2 inch piece of Jethimadh with half a teaspoon of sugar, coriander in water, when it boils well, strain it in a cup and drink it. This will get rid of the infection in your throat easily and will also strengthen your immunity.

Chamomile tea

You can also drink chamomile tea. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. In which you can avoid the problem of cold-cough, viral infection in monsoon.
