3. Maintains proper blood flow

Potassium increases the absorption of norepinephrine in certain nerves, thereby promoting the healing of blood vessels. This relaxes the vessels and also relaxes the muscles and improves blood flow. This keeps the heart pumping properly and keeps your heart healthy.
