World Alzheimer's Day: Loneliness and negative thoughts are increasing patients

Under the National Dementia Awareness Week, which runs from September 21 to 27, an awareness campaign will be launched in all the districts of the city through various programs to identify the disease and its prevention.
A neurologist at Columbia Hospital said Alzheimer's disease impairs memory and the ability to think. People who suffer from Alzheimer's during epidemics need to be extra careful. It has become necessary to remind them to clean their hands, wear masks, maintain social distance.
The epidemic has also affected people's mental health. They are suffering from post traumatic stress disorder because of this. This can lead to an increase in the number of Alzheimer's patients. There are a number of techniques, such as artificial intelligence, that can be used to treat Alzheimer's disease very effectively. The cooperation of family members and people of the society is very much needed in this disease.
