All 14 cancer survivors involved in a clinical trial at a cancer center in New York's Memorial Salon Catering have been diagnosed with cancer. He was given a drug based on immunotherapy on an experimental basis. The study was published in the New England Journal of Medicine. According to the published details, all the 13 patients were suffering from anal cancer.
Patients were given the dose every three installments. The experiment lasted for 6 months. The doctors involved in the experiment believed that the patient would then need known treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery. However, after 6 months, the researchers noticed that all the patients involved in the experiment had had their cancer eradicated. Many clinical trials have taken place, but all the patients involved in the experiment were diagnosed with cancer for the first time.
This change in the body of cancer patients has raised great hopes. This is probably the first time this has happened in the history of cancer experiments. According to the information received, the experiment for cancer patients was based on immunotherapy. In this experiment, medicine is given to increase the body's ability to fight diseases.
Immunotherapy had an even greater effect on patients with mutations in rectal cancer than expected. This is also called mismatch repair deficit i.e. rectal cancer. This is a cancer in which chemotherapy does not have a special effect. Not only did the cancer disappear during the test but it did not spread to other parts of the body and no remnants were found. Although the experiment is still ongoing, the results are encouraging for millions of people around the world.
