25% increase in corona cases in India, what is this danger bell?

The increase in the number of corona cases in India for the second consecutive day has increased the concern of the people. An increase of 25% has been reported in corona cases this week compared to last week. Apart from this, cases of Omicron's variant XBB1.5 have also increased in India.

In many countries of the world, including China, there is a continuous increase in the cases of Corona, now the name of India has also been added. The country has seen an increase in corona cases for the second consecutive week. As of last Sunday, 1526 new cases of corona have been reported in the country, which was 1219 in the previous week, in which a total increase of 25 percent has been reported. Seeing the increasing cases of Corona, people's anxiety has increased. Along with this, there has also been an increase in cases of Omicron variant XBB.1.5 in India. This is the variant that accounts for 40% more cases in the US. However, minor features of this variant have been observed in India.

Meanwhile, for the first time since March 2020, last week i.e. between December 26 and January 1, there has been a decrease in the number of deaths due to Kovid.

There has been a tremendous rise in the cases of Corona in Karnataka. Where 276 new cases have been reported this week and 116 cases of corona were reported last week. Apart from this, no other state has recorded such an increase in Covid cases. Kerala reported 467 new cases last week and Tamil Nadu's tally rose to 86. Maharashtra reported 168 new cases this week and 81 in Delhi, less than 50 in other states including Rajasthan.

The last case of XBB.1.5 variant was reported in Gujarat. 3 cases of this variant of Omicron have been reported in Gujarat, 1 each in Karnataka and Rajasthan. Although no serious symptoms have appeared in India, but when this virus is spreading rapidly, it is very important to follow the guidelines of Kovid.
