When the heat is high in the summer season, women or men use talcum powder in the underarms below the neck. But it greatly increases the risk of skin infection. The rationale behind it is that starch is used in talcum powder. Starch dries sweat but later sticks to the body. This increases the risk of skin infection.
Skin becomes dry
Women use talcum powder in summer. It does this so that the complexion looks clear and the face does not sweat. But doing so can make you look beautiful for a while. But in the long run it can prove harmful. In fact, doing so can lead to dryness of the skin. Due to which the problem of dryness starts increasing. Many times the problem of rash also arises due to excessive use of powder. So be careful while applying powder.
Pores may become clogged
Skin has pores. From these pores, toxins are released from the body in the form of sweat. These pores can be closed by applying powder. This can reduce sweating. If this happens, other skin related problems may arise. Recess occurs in the body when there is no sweating.
Respiratory problems may occur
The use of talcum powder may increase the allergy problem. Due to which it can cause difficulty in breathing. In fact when we breathe, small particles of powder can reach the lungs through the air. Due to which problems like breathing difficulty, anxiety, restlessness, cough can arise. If the talcum powder does not shoot, the problem may worsen.
