Apart from changing human behavior, traffic noise can also cause increased blood pressure. A team from the American College of Cardiology surveyed more than 240,000 people in the 40 to 80 age group. In which it was found that people who had to live in a noisy traffic environment had more blood pressure problems.

People who do not go through traffic but live close to noisy areas are more likely to suffer from high BP than those who live in a quiet natural environment. It is also dangerous to pass through the traffic area on a daily basis. According to an earlier study, it was also revealed that staying in traffic and noisy environment for a long time can lead to dementia.
