Corona transition in the country has slowed down but the death toll has not

New Delhi, May 8, 2021, Wednesday

The fact that young people became more vulnerable to transition in the second wave of Corona is now proving beyond statistics. According to the information received, 4.5 per cent of the people infected with corona since May 1 are youth between the ages of 18 and 30. According to the Corona data released by the Ministry of Health, most of the corona infected patients from May 1 to 9 were young. From May 8 to May 15, the proportion was 7.8 per cent. During the 16th to 21st period, the transition was found to be 4.5 per cent and also during the 6th to 8th period, 4.50 per cent of the youth were found to be infected.

Since then, people between the ages of 21 and 50 have been infected, including 2.14 per cent in this age group between May 1 and 5, 2.8 per cent between May 6 and 17, and 7.5 per cent between May 15 and May 31. . While a third wave of corona is expected in the future, an average of 7% of children have been infected in the second wave.

In the last three days, the number of coronary heart disease cases in children has risen to 7.5 percent. The second wave of corona in India needs to slow down but the death toll has not yet come down. The death toll has been around 2,000 for some time now. In the last four hours, 203 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in the country while 216 people have died. Surprisingly, last Tuesday, the number of cases of corona infection was less than 3 lakh and the death toll was around 200. It is seeing an increase rather than a decrease.
