People get sick the most in winter. Cold, cough and fever bother everyone, be it old or children. Changeable weather and low temperatures increase the body temperature. Meanwhile, stay away from morning-evening cold. A few things to keep in mind if you develop a fever. Due to your carelessness, the illness can be prolonged. The more days the fever lasts, the more trouble you will have to face. Special care should be taken in diet according to Ayurveda. So that your health does not deteriorate further. Most people do not know what to eat and what not to eat when they have a fever.
What not to do when you have a fever
Do not wash with cold water
Some people bathe in cold water when they have a fever, but this should not be done at all. After sponging with some lukewarm water, take a normal bath.
Do not consume these fruits
It is considered good to eat fruits in fever, but it is very important for you to know which fruits should be eaten and which ones should not be eaten. There are many fruits which should be avoided during fever. Avoid eating especially juicy and sour fruits, bananas, watermelons, oranges, lemons.
Do not consume curd
Cold things should not be consumed during fever. So drinking curd, buttermilk, lassi or raitu should be avoided in fever. It is especially important to avoid consuming cold foods. Among which curd is the first number.
What to do when you have a fever?
If you have fever then first of all keep in mind the diet. Eat normal and easily digestible food.
Avoid eating large meals at one time and walk indoors after meals.
In fever you should drink plenty of water but only warm water. It relaxes the throat.
You can also drink soup in fever if you want. You can have tomato soup, mix veg soup or mung bean soup.
One should get plenty of rest during fever. Sleeping and waking up on time improves health.
