Homeland workers can spread the infection of the corona virus - the World Bank

Ahmedabad, 13, April-2020, Monday

Hundreds of workers migrated from states such as Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Bihar during the sudden lockdown given the epidemic of the Corona virus. They were earning a living at the wage rates in the big cities, but in the lockdown their incomes hit the cities leaving their hit cities. Roads were reeling from the laborers on their way to their homes as the railway and road transport were closed. The World Bank has also worried that millions of people have returned to their homeland after the Corona virus lock-down across the country.

At first it was estimated that after the lock-down the chain of transmission of Kor virus would be broken but the people who migrated to the homeland during the lock down threatened the rural area of the country. Until now, the transit spread by the travelers traveling abroad would have been considered, but now the migrant workers have also had to take the Corona test.

Travelers' corona transit was not considered after the lockdown. The World Bank believes that population density is higher in South Asia than in the rest of the world, especially in urban areas. Apart from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan are also mentioned in the report. Following the lock-down, social distancing was difficult to follow in the run-up to the house. The report states that South Asia has a low population of people over 65 years of age compared to the United States and China, so the number of Corona virus infections and death toll are lower than in the United States. However, the death rate may increase due to lack of social distance.
