This 'magical' machine is more effective than a ventilator in treating corona virus

The search for a vaccine to treat coronavirus is currently underway, but many important things are coming out in the process. Studies have shown that the machine that increases the amount of oxygen in the blood, the corona, is playing an important role in the treatment of patients. The University of West Virginia has come to this conclusion after conducting research in several hospitals. The study was performed on 32 patients with extraporeal membrane oxygen machine. The study found that 17 out of 32 people were on the machine after 24 days while 5 had to be removed. That is, 68% of people benefited from it.

More advantage than other therapies
This machine is used for heart and lung disease and works to deliver oxygen to the human blood, relieving the heart and lungs. The patients on whom this study was performed did not benefit from any other treatment. The study found that two-thirds of the patients' lives were saved when the machine was used. Researchers in Japan have previously claimed this.

Expensive but effective
 The machine was used to treat patients trapped on a Diamond Princess ship in Yokohama. These machines are very expensive, so they are not used in every hospital and can not even replace the ventilator, but they are no less than a ray of hope because of the benefits in the treatment of corona. The machine is treating about 220 coronavirus patients in North America and 83 patients in Europe. Of the 582 discharged, 58 were found to be healthy.

Better results from a ventilator
 For a recent study, the study team studied 32 patients from 9 hospitals in the Journal of the American Society for Artificial Internal Organ. 17 patients remained on the machine after 24 days and 5 patients were excised. Of these 5, 4 were given steroids, 3 were given antiviral medication and one was given hydroxychloroquine. 1 person was granted leave. Its use can give 3 times better results than a ventilator.
