In the last six months, 108 doctors have died from corona

New Delhi, July 8, 2020, Tuesday

Even doctors who have been treating and protecting people against the corona virus epidemic have not been able to escape the corona. In the last three months, 108 doctors have died fighting the Corona virus. According to the information received, the average age of doctors affected by corona is 3 years, out of which 4.5 per cent doctors are less than 30 years of age. While 51% of doctors were less than 30 years of age, more than 50 doctors were around 60 years of age who have lost their lives in the Corona epidemic.

A study of coronary heart disease infection and mortality in India reveals that the mortality rate in India is 7.5 per cent, while the mortality rate for doctors is 4.1 per cent, which is more than double the normal mortality rate. As the incidence of coronary heart disease continues to rise during coronary epidemics, so does the challenge for doctors. There is a risk of death when accidentally infected during treatment. The families of doctors, nurses and paramedics who are battling the Corona epidemic are becoming increasingly vulnerable. There have also been reports of nurses living in rented accommodation being treated rudely.
