A new strain of the virus from Britain has been successfully identified in India. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Saturday tweeted that India had successfully identified a new type of virus that was rapidly going viral. India has isolated the UK mutant strain. This isolation will help investigate the effect of the new mutant strain on the corona virus vaccine, ICMR said. At the same time, it can be checked whether the corona vaccine will affect this strain or not.

In the early days of the epidemic in India, the SARS-Cov-2 virus Covid-12 was tracked through a nationwide network of ICMR laboratories. The new strain of corona virus is spreading rapidly in India after Britain, South Africa and the Middle East. The number of people infected with the new type of corona in India has risen to eight. All these patients are kept in special isolation.
