Soldiers serving in Ladakh will be the first to be vaccinated
-4000 vaccines were given to the Indian Army
-Corana vaccination has started from today
New Delhi Dated 16th January 2021 Saturday
According to the information received, the first step was to vaccinate the soldiers on duty at the Ladakh border from January 16 onwards.
The Prime Minister announced that the world's largest vaccination program was being launched today. The vaccination of Bharat Biotech and Serum Institute started today at the time of writing.
The Defense Department had given priority to troops on duty at the Ladakh border. About 4,000 (3,820) vaccines were given to the Indian Army, according to the health ministry. The vaccine will be given to the soldiers on duty at the Ladakh border 24 hours a day. The Chinese military has been maneuvering along the Ladakh border since March-April last year. More than once, when China attempted to infiltrate Indian territory, Indian troops were forced to retreat despite tight equipment and inadequate weapons.
China had arranged for 10,000 armed men to move around the Ladakh border, especially near Lake Pangong. Indian troops chased them all out more than once. With the onset of winter, the Chinese army withdrew immediately due to the deadly cold in the Ladakh region. On the other hand, despite the killer cold, the Indian Army has not moved from its position. The killer was doing his duty even after enduring the cold. In view of this fact, the work of vaccinating the soldiers on duty at the Ladakh border was started today. In addition to leaving, military doctors and medical staff were also vaccinated.
