A volunteer died nine days after being vaccinated against corona at the People's Medical College in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.

The volunteer, Deepak Maravi, 47, was vaccinated on December 12 at the People's Medical College. Nine days after the vaccination, he was found dead at his home in Jamalpur-based Subedar Colony. Police immediately launched an investigation into the incident.

Police conducted an autopsy on December 22. A preliminary postmortem report revealed that the body of the deceased contained toxins. A detailed postmortem report has not yet arrived. Whether Deepak's death was due to a side effect of the corona vaccine or some other cause will be known after the final postmortem report, police said.

My father felt unwell on December 19, according to Akash, the son of the deceased. We complained to him more than once at the People's Medical Hospital but no one bothered to pick up the phone. My father did not even consult a doctor as he understood the general illness. He did not go to work after receiving the corona vaccine. They consistently adhered to Corona's protocol. The police investigation was ongoing. A spokesman for the People's Medical College was not available.
