The technique of testing the corona by rinsing was developed

Amid the Corona virus epidemic, millions of people in the country get tested for Covid-12 every day. Which mainly consists of RTPCR and rapid antigen test. However, a technique has been developed by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research that can be used to determine whether a cora is positive or negative in just three hours. This will be done by rubbing the nose or throat, not the swab, but only the mouth. This new technique has been approved by ICMR. Saliva collection is not required in this test. Which contains a tube containing the solution.


To check the corona, the solution is put in the mouth and rinsed for 15 seconds. After rinsing is sent for testing in a tube. This swab free technique has been welcomed by experts. The emphasis was on making sample collection easy and patient friendly, according to a senior scientist at Neeri's Environmental Virology Cell. It became necessary to do the least amount of trouble to the people during the testing, in which only the mouth has to be rinsed. The RTPCR report is received from this sample in just three hours.


Labs staff have been asked to train for testing after getting approval from ICMR. This is an easy way for people to do sample collection on their own. This will reduce the crowds at the testing center. The crowds at the testing center will also reduce the chances of other people becoming infected. Some time ago, a lab in Pune researched an antigen-type testing kit that gives test results in just 15 minutes. Thus, the corona testing process is becoming easier. Not only is the person testing positive at home, but he is also positive or negative.
