As the world is barely emerging from the corona virus, the spread of a virus called monkey pox is on the rise. Cases of the disease, commonly found in Africa, have also been reported in Europe and the United States.

An investigation is under way into 13 suspected cases of monkeypox in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Most of these cases came to mind during admission to the hospital. In the United States, the state health minister of Massachusetts has confirmed that a case of monkeypox has been reported. However, this did not pose any threat to the citizen and it was also clarified that the patient was in good condition in the hospital.

According to the information received, this person had traveled to Canada. A dozen new cases of monkey pox have been found in Europe, with Portugal having the highest number at five. A total of 40 cases have also been found in Spain. In Europe, two males had symptoms of chickenpox if they had sex, but experts believe that sex has nothing to do with chickenpox.

Monkeypox viruses also belong to the small pox family

Monkey pox is spread by touching or infecting in any way. Monkey pox can also be caused by using sick things. However, hygiene and common chemical liquids for cleaning also kill the virus. Monkeypox can be cured in a few weeks, but according to the World Health Organization, the death rate can be as high as 10 percent if left untreated. Monkey pox was also seen in Spain and Britain two weeks ago. Experts believe that these are the countries where the presence of monkey pox is dangerous. As many as 9 cases were reported in Britain in the first week of May.
