March 24 is celebrated as World Tuberculosis Day all over the world. The main aim is to make everyone aware about TB disease. TB is caused by bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This is a bacterial infection that affects the lungs. And it spreads more to parts like the brain and spinal cord. Today on World TB Day, let's know what are the main symptoms of tuberculosis and how to avoid this disease.

There are 2 types of TB

There are two types of tuberculosis. The first is latent TB in which people usually seem to get sick. This body contains germs. But your immune system prevents it from spreading. It is not contagious and usually has no symptoms. However, being in the body, it can become active anytime. Another type of TB is called active TB. In this the germs spread in the body very quickly which makes you sick. and is known as active TB infection.

Main symptoms of TB

Latent TB has no symptoms. A skin or blood test can tell. Also, active TB usually starts producing phlegm within 3 weeks. Chest pain, coughing up blood, fatigue, night sweats, chills, fever, loss of appetite and weight loss are its main symptoms.

Treatment of TB

A strict diet is essential in the initial stages of TB treatment. During the treatment of the patient he should eat very nutritious food, along with this he should be excised, do yoga and lead a normal life. Doctors should be consulted from time to time. So it is necessary to take some kind of medicine for 6 to 9 months. Which can cure TB.
