Apart from this, taking too much calcium can lead to kidney stones. That is why it is important to note that instead of being beneficial to your health, vitamin supplements can also be harmful.

The correct way to take vitamin supplements

Vitamin D supplementation is viewed based on an individual's deficiency and needs, and the exact dosage and treatment should be initiated only after consulting a doctor. Iron supplements are needed only when a person is deficient in iron or during pregnancy iron should be taken on an empty stomach but can be taken with food if an empty stomach is not tolerated.
