Dehydration is a problem due to lack of blood sugar control. Drinking plenty of water flushes excess glucose through the urine and helps control blood sugar levels. Drink plenty of water to avoid heat in summer and keep blood sugar under control.

2. Lemon water



In summer people often drink lemon water with sugar added. But diabetics should not make such a mistake. Instead of sugar, they can add some black salt to lemon water and consume it.

3. Vegetable juice is better than fruit juice



Diabetics should avoid drinking fruit juice in summer. Fruits contain natural sugars that can raise blood sugar. It is better for them to drink vegetable juice than fruit juice. Blood pressure can also be kept under control by drinking vegetable juice.

4. Coconut water



Coconut water is one of the healthiest drinks in the world. It is nutritious as well as delicious. It has a low glycemic index and very little natural sugar. The nutrients in it help control blood sugar.

5. Buttermilk
