Because the food made from it tastes very good and is also beneficial for health. But there are a few things you need to keep in mind before cooking food in a clay pot. And gradually it can harm your health. So these things should be kept in mind while cooking food in clay pots.

Consider this before cooking food in clay pots

1. Before cooking in a clay pot, soak it once in water, then remove from the water and wipe with a dry cloth. And keep it on low flame for two minutes. After that you can cook dal-rice or vegetables.

2. Food should be cooked in earthen pot on low flame. Cooking on high flame can cause the pot to break. And slow cooking makes food taste better.

3. Cooking on a gas stove makes food taste better than cooking in a clay pot. And looks sweet.

4. A soft scrub should be used to clean earthenware. It will not break.

5. Cotton cloth should be used to clean the utensils. By doing this, the earthen pot stays good.
