When children cry or are stubborn about something, their parents give them a mobile phone or some electronic gadget to chase them away. This trend has become common nowadays. And by doing this the children calm down. But spending too much time on the screen of mobile or other gadgets leads to addiction.

What is this virtual autism?

The symptoms of virtual autism are usually seen more in children between four and five years of age. This happens because children use mobile phones, TV, laptops too much and such symptoms are seen in children. And in them children have difficulty in speaking and communicating with others.

According to a doctor at BLK Max Hospital in Delhi, such a condition is known as virtual autism in the parlance of doctors. This means that these children do not have autism but develop symptoms. And its risk is higher in children aged 1 to 3 years. In today's times, children are exposed to phones from the time they start walking. This is more common in children aged 15 to 3 years. In which this happens due to parents staying away from them sometimes.
