Most people prefer to sleep for 2-3 hours after having lunch, especially in summer season. People feel tired after being busy with various household tasks from morning till afternoon. So many times people sleep after having lunch. According to Ayurveda, one should never make the mistake of sleeping immediately after eating. Because this has a bad effect on health and body. If you always feel sleepy after eating, then you need to know these things.

It is forbidden to sleep immediately after eating, as this increases the fat and water element in the body. Your digestion may be impaired. Metabolism may weaken. Diabetes, obesity, weight gain and cholesterol problems can occur. According to Ayurveda, people who do more physical work, such as the elderly and children, can sleep for 48 minutes. People who do not eat in the afternoon can also sleep.

Sit in Vajrasana

Ayurveda says that instead of going to bed immediately after eating, people should sit in Vajrasana for 15-20 minutes, as this helps the food to be digested faster. Metabolism remains healthy and you do not suffer from acidity, indigestion, constipation and bloating. After eating food you should also walk 100 steps. You should not do any heavy exercise after eating. Just walk. Always sleep on left side after lunch.

Many diseases can occur

Whenever you have a heavy lunch or dinner, don't make the mistake of going to bed immediately afterwards. If you do this mistake repeatedly, you may face many physical problems and even face serious illnesses.
