The name of this plant is satyanashi, which means one who does bad things, as it grows by itself on the road everywhere. Satyanashi plant usually grows in different places like roadside, barren soil, rocky soil.

Satyanashi plant is used in many types of medicine. This plant has many thorns. And yellow flowers come on it. It has bean colored seeds inside. By breaking its flowers and fruits, a white substance is released from it. But after breaking the flower from this satyanashi plant, a yellow milky substance comes out. This yellow colored substance is called Swarnakshir.

In Ayurveda, every part of Satyanasi plant ie leaves, flowers, stems, roots and bark are considered very useful.

According to experts, if the root of the satyanashi plant is boiled in water and made into a decoction, it is beneficial for people who have trouble breathing or frequent cough. Apart from this, if someone complains of stomach ache, ghee mixed with the yellow milk of Satyanashi will relieve his pain. Patients suffering from jaundice are benefited by mixing Giloy juice with satyanashi oil. However, it would be better to consult a doctor before consuming the parts of Satyanasi plant in any form.
