Apply warm mustard or coconut oil if your newborn has a cold or chest congestion. Massage the baby with this oil and gently apply the potli on the baby's chest.

Here, keep in mind that the potty should be slightly warm as the baby may not be able to tolerate very hot compresses. If your baby has a runny nose or a cold, put a warm ajwain pack under the baby's pillow.

If your child has a cold, cough or runny nose, apply this trial pack to his back, chest, ribs and stomach.
