According to a report, medicines like tablets, capsules remain somewhat effective after expiry, but cough syrup, eye drops, injections and medicines stored in the fridge lose their effectiveness after the expiry date. According to reports, in some cases, consumption of expired medicine can cause headache, stomach ache and vomiting as well as any reaction in the body. So, if a medicine with an expiry date is consumed unknowingly, then one should go to the doctor immediately. Also liver-kidney test should be done. So that any serious situation can be avoided.
