700 million poor people need 90 90 billion in aid to fight the Corona epidemic

Corona virus epidemic has adversely affected the economies of various countries. According to the United Nations Department of Human Rights, the Covid-19 epidemic could provide food and basic necessities to the world's 700 million poor and economically weaker people for 90 billion. According to Mark Locock, president of the UN's Humanitarian Organization, most experts believe that the Corona epidemic has not yet spread to poverty-stricken areas, but could reach in the next two to three months. He also said that 700 million people, who make up 10 per cent of the world's population, are facing the most hardships, concentrated in 30 to 40 countries. As the virus spreads it will become harder for these poor people to make a living when the government imposes various kinds of government sanctions. It will take a long time for them to settle down as their income will go down due to lack of employment and business. An estimated 30 billion is enough for those facing starvation. The rest is enough for health and related facilities.


According to the information received, two-thirds of the 90 90 billion could go through the World Bank and international institutions such as the IMF. These institutions will also have to change the conditions of assistance, ranging from lowering interest rates to debt forgiveness. The amount of aid given to governments will also have to be increased. The rich countries of the world can alleviate the pain of the epidemic by donating money for the development of the poor. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on March 25 appealed for બે 2 billion to help people in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and South America who are living in poverty and hardship, with અ 1 billion a month in aid from Germany.
