Research by India and Japan on how Ashwagandha can cure covid-19

New Delhi, May 19, 2020, Tuesday

The whole world is fighting the Corona virus epidemic. It is well-known that some effective anti-malarial drugs have been used to treat malaria. Corona virus affects the respiratory system so people in India also do household experiments like warm water, turmeric and ginger to prevent throat infections. Since corona virus is fatal for people with low immunity, Ayurvedic infusions are also taken in addition to a balanced diet to boost immunity. Research is underway on how herbs can help prevent covid-19.

According to the information received, Ashwagandha contains a chemical substance which can be effective in preventing the growth of Covid-19 cells in the body. Professor D Sundar, a biochemical engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, has been conducting research on Ashwagandha for the last 15 years in collaboration with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Japan. Attempts are now being made to treat this Ashwagandha Covid-19 disease as well. The first report of this research paper has been approved for publication in the international research journal Journal of Biomolecular Dynamics.
