4. Do not consume these items

The kidneys are responsible for removing harmful substances from the blood. If you smoke and drink alcohol, you are also making your kidneys weak. That's why you give him a rest. The kidneys also filter out over-the-counter medications, so never take too much and avoid taking medications you don't need.
