Know when to vaccinate corona positive patients after recovery?

New Delhi, May 16, 2021, Wednesday

There is confusion about when to get the corona vaccine. It is important to know how many days to take the vaccine or how long to take it, especially if the corona has tested positive during the period when the vaccine is being considered. According to the information received, the central government has advised that it is advisable to vaccinate three months after the recovery of the infection after the first vaccine of corona. The vaccine is also said to be safe for breastfeeding women.

If a corona becomes infected after taking the first dose of the vaccine, the second dose should be taken three months later. This is one more change in the rules of vaccination by the Ministry of Health. A recommendation by The National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for Covid-18 also recommended vaccination three months after recovery from corona.

Breastfeeding women can get the vaccine but pregnant women can still get the corona vaccine. It is advisable for patients who have been given plasma to be vaccinated 6 months after discharge from the hospital. Blood can be donated 15 days after the corona vaccine. If someone is infected with Corona, they can donate blood after RTPCR is negative. Rapid antigen tests are not necessary before taking the vaccine.
