Newly found variant in Singapore dangerous for children - schools closed

Experts have warned that the next Corona wave could be dangerous for children, raising fears of a new variant from Singapore. And decided to close secondary level schools. The only purpose of closing these schools is to stop the spread of the infection. Citing this context, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has demanded a halt to flights between Singapore and India so that the new variant does not cause a third wave in India. However, on the demand for suspension of flights from Singapore, Union Minister Hardippuri clarified that international flights have been suspended since March 2020 and there is no air bubble with Singapore.
