Plasma therapy for the treatment of corona was discontinued in the country

The most talked about plasma therapy for the treatment of corona has been discontinued. Ever since the onset of the corona epidemic, patients have been healed by plasma therapy by inspiring people to donate plasma. Many positive patients donated plasma after recovery. Which was used to treat a positive patient with a plasma corona. Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of the Corona epidemic.

However now health experts believe that plasma therapy is not particularly effective. According to the information received, some time ago some doctors and experts had written a letter to scientific advisor Vijayaradhavan calling the plasma therapy adopted for the treatment of corona irrational and unscientific, warning that this therapy is not currently based on treatment guidelines and evidence. The letter was also sent to ICMR President Balram Bhargava and AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria.

New guidelines for the treatment of corona positive patients have been issued by ICMR and AIIMS. The new guidelines divide the treatment of corona patients into three categories, including a range of patients with mild symptoms, moderate symptoms and severe symptoms. Those with mild symptoms like home isolation, moderate and severe symptoms are advised to be admitted to covid wards and ICUs respectively. The number of cases of corona infection has decreased in the last 3 hours in the country. Active cases are declining over the last four days as the number of patients recovering from the transition has increased which is a good thing.
