Sugar:- Nowadays many types of energy drinks for children have come in the market. After drinking which children are claimed to be active. Children also become active after drinking this but they can also get diseases. These health drinks are high in sugar. It can cause problems like obesity, tooth decay, insomnia. Sugar in energy drinks boosts test scores, but some studies show it can also negatively impact children's ability to learn, understand and remember.

Sodium:- Sodium is found in abundance in many health drinks and healthy foods available in the market. Packaged foods are especially high in sodium. Consuming it can cause problems like obesity, stress and high BP in children. According to experts, children between the ages of 8 and 17 years are at risk of high blood pressure due to high sodium intake, they can also develop heart disease.

Caffeine:- Caffeine is also very harmful for children's health. Caffeine is found in abundance in energy or health drinks. It can cause high blood pressure and insomnia. It also leads to problems like mood swings and stress. Caffeinated drinks can also cause headaches in children.

High fructose corn syrup:- Many health drinks contain high fructose corn syrup. The consumption of which causes health related problems. Eating carbohydrate foods like rice provides the body with glucose, which is easily distributed throughout the body with the help of cells. However, when high fructose corn syrup is consumed by children it turns into fat and accumulates in the liver before being converted into fuel and energy.
