Diabetes is a rapidly growing problem. Due to bad lifestyle and bad food, this disease is increasing rapidly. Although, we can control this with medicines and various methods, but blood sugar level of many diabetic patients cannot be controlled by these medicines. Meanwhile, this problem can be controlled by including fruits and vegetables in the diet. Most vegetables are lower in sugar than fruits. Eating these vegetables raw without cooking can help control blood sugar levels. Some vegetables are packed with fiber and other essential nutrients while being low in sugar. These vegetables eaten raw help in controlling diabetes.

Broccoli

Diabetics can consume broccoli to control blood sugar. It has a low glycemic index, which prevents blood sugar from rising. It contains many essential nutrients like fiber and vitamins which are considered good for diabetic patients. Broccoli can also be eaten as a salad.

cucumber

Eating cucumber is beneficial in diabetes. It can also be eaten raw. Cucumber has high water content. Along with this, many essential vitamins are also present in cucumber. It does not contain sugar, which makes it considered good for diabetics.

Tomato

Diabetics can consume tomato, it does not contain sugar and is a non-starchy vegetable, making this vegetable considered beneficial for diabetics. Tomato can be eaten as a salad.
