According to a study of 4.50 lakh people for 6 years, people who go to bed early live 10 percent longer than those who go to bed late. In a research experiment conducted in Britain, people aged 38 to 73 years were included. Deaths in a 6-year long survey were also studied. In which 10,500 people died.
That is, the researchers found that the death rate of people who woke up late and slept late in the morning was 10 percent higher. The research also looked at smoking, drinking habits, weight and socioeconomic status. The researcher believes that this issue cannot be overlooked as it is related to people's health.
Most of the early or late risers also admitted that they enjoy working early in the morning. People who stayed up late had a greater fear of death. Diabetes, stomach and respiratory problems, addiction to alcohol and smoking were also high among them. The researchers said that waking up and sleeping late may cause the biological clock to not match the surrounding environment.
