Take care of your health this way on Diwali

Just make time for a 10 minute walk

Diwali is so busy that you skip working out. But take 10 minutes after meal. Walking keeps the blood sugar level of the body under control. According to research, people suffering from diabetes should walk for 20 minutes every day.

Eat sweets like this

If a diabetic patient wants to eat sweets, then one thing must be remembered that one should never eat sweets on an empty stomach because eating sweets on an empty stomach can increase the blood sugar level. You can have sweets with or after a small amount of food.

Eat dessert before main meal

If you want to eat sweets on Diwali, you can consume a small amount of sweets sometime before the meal. Eating sweets in this way helps to increase insulin production and blood sugar levels are also controlled.

Do not skip meals

It is most important for diabetic patients not to skip their meals and to eat small meals at regular intervals. Meanwhile, even if you're busy working on the couch but eating small meals in between, this keeps the glucose level up.

Include protein and carbs in the diet

The most important thing is to keep your diet balanced, including protein, carbohydrates and fiber rich foods. This type of meal prevents blood sugar levels from spiking.
