The winter season has also brought with it many diseases. Cases of flu, viral fever and pneumonia are on the rise in some parts of the country. Many types of bacteria and viruses become active during this season, due to which diseases start to increase. The biggest problem is that Flu, Viral Fever and Pneumonia only have cough-cold and fever. Meanwhile, many people are confused to identify these three. It should be recognized quickly as illnesses like pneumonia can be dangerous and even fatal.
What is the difference between pneumonia and flu?
1. According to health experts, the biggest gap in flu and pneumonia symptoms is related to breathing. In case of flu there is no problem in breathing but in pneumonia there is difficulty in breathing and it causes deficiency of oxygen in the body.
2. Chest pain is not a problem in case of flu but in pneumonia there is a lot of chest pain. Cough is accompanied by phlegm.
3. Pneumonia causes fatigue, loss of appetite and cold sweats but no cold sweats in flu.
4. Flu resolves automatically within 3-4 days but bacterial pneumonia can worsen the patient's condition. If not treated on time, life can also be lost.
Differences in pneumonia and viral fever
Viral does not cause normal fever and breathing problems or chest pain. Viral fever can happen to anyone. While most cases of pneumonia occur in children and the elderly. This can be dangerous for small children under 2 years of age.
