Corona Update: Rise in Corona cases again, 774 new cases in 24 hours, 2 deaths


Corona Cases In India: Corona virus is increasing worldwide including India. In the last 24 hours, 774 new cases of corona have been reported in the country and two infected patients have died. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the number of corona patients has reached 4,187. In the last 24 hours, one corona patient has died in Tamil Nadu and Gujarat.

92 percent patients are receiving treatment at home

The number of active cases of Corona in the country has increased to 4,187. In which 92 percent patients are taking treatment at home. Sources said that currently available statistics show that cases of the new JN.1 variant are not increasing rapidly, with no increase in hospitalizations and mortality. It is worth mentioning that, due to the delta variant of Corona in the country, the epidemic reached a very dangerous level in April-June 2021. Meanwhile, on 7th May 2021, 4,14,188 new cases of Corona and 3,915 patients died in the country in a single day.

In the last four years since the beginning of the year 2020, more than 4.5 crore people have been infected with Corona and more than 5.3 lakh people have died. According to the Health Ministry's website, more than 4.4 crore people have recovered from the infection so far and the recovery rate is 98.81 percent.
