New delhi date. Monday, June 8, 2020
Preparations are now underway to use Ayurvedic herbs on a large scale in the fight against Kovid-19. In this regard, a few days ago, the Drug Controller of India had approved the use of four ayurvedic herbs, including Ashwagandha, and an ayurvedic medicine called AYUSH-64.
This step has been taken on the initiative of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Ministry of AYUSH. Currently the ayurvedic herbs that have been approved for clinical trials, including Ashwagandha, include Yashtimadhu (Mulethi), Pipli and Galo (Giloy). So let us know the opinions of Rajiv Pundir, an Ayurvedic doctor from Delhi.
Why keep what is healthy healthy
Corona is a disease caused by a virus that invades a person's respiratory tract and puts the patient in a critical condition within a matter of days. According to the principles of Ayurveda, first of all we should think about 'Swasthya Swasthya Rakshan' i.e. how to maintain the health of those who are healthy.
Because of this, the Ministry of AYUSH and CSIR have developed a combination of four herbs to fight the disease and boost the immune system so that people develop the ability to fight the disease.
In it Ashwagandha keeps the nervous system healthy, Mulethi or Jethimadh and Pipli i.e. small pepper has a positive effect on the respiratory system of a person and throat is a famous antipyretic. The combination of all these herbs will boost the immune system of the patient which will be useful in preventing not only coronary heart disease but also other diseases.
It is advisable to experiment with this mixture by making decoction as described in Ayurveda. To make the extract, take equal quantity of all the four herbs (each herb 2.5 grams, total 10 grams) and boil a little sugar in four times water.
Then a quarter of the water is left to be filtered and consumed when it is warm. Taking it morning and evening for 15 consecutive days can boost the immune system and also prevent the effects of Covid-19.
Treatment of the patient after the disease has subsided
The next principle of Ayurveda is 'Atusya Vikar Prashamnam' i.e. treatment of the patient after the disease is over. Coronary infections invade the patient's respiratory tract and, depending on their severity, the disease can be treated with trigeminal neuralgia, trigeminal neuralgia, and trigeminal neuralgia.
Special herbs used in these diseases like Sitopaladi powder, Talisadi powder, Chandramrut juice, Kadaketu juice, Respiratory juice, Vasavaleh, Kankasav etc. can also prove to be effective but it should be used only under the supervision of experts.
Follow these rules
In the present times, it is necessary for everyone to pay special attention to diet. Fresh food including normal vegetables, bread, lentils, rice should be taken and milk, ghee and fresh curd should be consumed as much as possible. Stale food, sour foods, sour yogurt, imported foods, sour fruit juices, meat, alcohol and smoking should not be consumed by mistake.
Refrigerated cold water should be avoided and lukewarm water should be drunk to give special benefits to the respiratory system. Other than that going to crowded places should be avoided.
