Corona infection in 1000 children of 6 years in 15 days in Uttarakhand

Corona virus transmission in the country has decreased and recovery rate has increased but in the last 15 days in the state of Uttarakhand, 1000 children up to 9 years of age have been shocked by the corona. As India faces the second wave of the Corona, a third wave is looming in Uttarakhand. The challenge is compounded by the growing contagion of corona in children. The Uttarakhand health department had informed that some children have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.


For some time now, experts have been warning that if a third wave of corona occurs, it will have to protect children from becoming infected. In Uttarakhand, a total of 2191 children have been infected with covid infection so far. From April 1 to April 15, 6 children tested positive, while from April 15 to April 30, 104 children and from May 1 to May 15, about 1000 children have contracted corona. Even the hilly region of Uttarakhand where clean oxygen and air are considered water could not be free from corona.


People in many rural areas are facing conditions like health emergencies. Feeling short of fever and cold medicine. The number of deaths due to corona infection in the last 15 days is less than in a single year. Uttarakhand has a higher proportion of population transition cases compared to the active cases per lakh population of Uttar Pradesh. There are 3 active cases of corona virus in Uttarakhand while more than 3 people have died.
