If you want to keep your blood sugar levels under control, never make these mistakes

Ahmedabad, 8 February 2023 Wednesday

The number of diabetic patients in India is continuously increasing. In the last one decade, there has been an increase in the number of young diabetic patients in the country. Age-related lifestyle changes and family history can be the cause of diabetes. Apart from that, a study has found that a person's daily diet and constant stress in life can also lead to diabetes. If you want to keep your blood sugar level under control then the following mistakes should be avoided. If you can do this, a healthy lifestyle will be in front of you.

Avoid using white bread

White bread is used for breakfast in most people's homes in the country. White bread is a refined food, high in carbs, which can spike your blood sugar levels. Refined carbs are high in biscuits, pasta, sweets, cakes, white rice and energy drinks. So if you are regularly consuming white bread and any other refined food, then it should be removed from your diet now.

Breakfast

Along with the diet, it is equally important to take meals on time in diabetics, a diabetic patient should not stay hungry for a long time, because keeping an empty stomach for a long time in this disease can increase the blood sugar level. That is, the stomach remains hungry for 8 to 10 hours after the night meal, so it becomes inevitable to have breakfast on an empty stomach and by not having breakfast, the risk of getting this disease also increases.

physical activity

If you have a habit of sitting continuously at home or at work, know that according to a study conducted in 2021, scientists have come to know that people who are lazy and don't do physical activity have a 31 percent increased risk of developing type-2 diabetes. Regular exercise and physical activity are very important for diabetic patients.

Loneliness

According to an American survey conducted almost a year after the corona epidemic, people who live alone for a long time have an increased risk of developing type-2 diabetes. Another study found that people who live alone for long periods of time, who do not socialize much, are at risk of developing diabetes due to this constant loneliness.
