During the second wave of corona in India, more than 50,000 people fell victim to the black fungus
New Delhi, June 7, 2021 The second wave of corona epidemics in India has come down drastically, but after the corona infection, the black fungus-infected mucorrhoea has turned black. Black fungus, which spreads mostly to the brain and nasal system, has killed more than 3,000 people. According to figures released by the central government during the 9th meeting on Corona today, out of the total cases of black fungus, there were 216 cases in which a nasal system or brain infection was found. This means that in more than 90% of cases, black fungus is more prevalent in the nose and brain. According to Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan, a total of 212 people have died of black fungus in the country. Thirty of the black fungus patients had coronary heart disease. Out of the total cases of black fungus, 219 people had other serious diseases. In addition, 2.7 percent of people who were infected with steroids became infected, and black fungus, like corona, was found in people of all age
